Quiz Bowl

My passion for quiz bowl and academic tournaments ignited in 4th grade, setting me on a path of intellectual exploration and personal growth. This drive has propelled me to success in a variety of competitions, culminating in some truly unforgettable experiences.

In 2024, I earned a place among the top 12 geography students worldwide at the International Geography Championships in Austria, even clinching the #1 spot in the Economic Geography competition! This experience wasn't just about winning; it pushed me to delve deeper into the intricacies of global economies and hone my critical thinking skills.

Closer to home, I've captained my high school team to victory in numerous regional tournaments and even appeared on PBS's "It's Academic!" twice.  Each victory, each challenge, and each shared moment with my teammates has shaped me into a more resilient, collaborative, and intellectually curious individual. The thrill of the buzzer, the challenge of the questions, and the camaraderie of my teammates – these are the elements that make competitions such a rewarding experience.
