American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (AYPO)
Imagine a place where young musicians from all walks of life come together to create something beautiful. That's the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (AYPO). With seven orchestras and six ensembles, AYPO provides a unique and powerful experience for aspiring musicians in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Through rigorous instruction, inspiring performances, and community outreach programs, AYPO cultivates not only musical talent, but also a deep sense of social responsibility and personal growth.

Langley High School Philharmonic Orchestra
At the heart of the Langley High School Orchestra is the Philharmonic class, our premier ensemble comprised of outstanding musicians selected by audition. While our program includes five classes – Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, and Philharmonic – the Philharmonic represents the pinnacle of musical achievement, offering a challenging and rewarding experience for dedicated musicians of all grade levels.
